We delve into the acute and chronic effects of obesity on cardiometabolic risk factors, aiming to understand the differences between childhood-onset and adulthood-onset obesity.
Our Story
Our work includes characterizing various types of adipose tissue, such as visceral and subcutaneous fat, to uncover their distinct roles in health. We also conduct exercise-based and lifestyle intervention programs, seeking effective strategies for weight management and chronic disease prevention.
