Bjorn is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport, Physical Education and Health and an Associate Director in the Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness at Hong Kong Baptist University. Before joining the HK Baptist U, Bjorn was a Scientist working closely with pharmaceuticals in both Canada and United States. Bjorn and his team have broad interests in understanding the effects of lifestyle interventions and physical activity (including both exercise and sport) on human health, especially on skeletal muscle and adipose tissue health. Outside the lab and his office gym, Bjorn loves reading, travelling, learning new things and spending time with his family.
